Pizza Hut

I’m not sure if this is the right location, but if there is a Chloe here, who unfortunately had to help out at a Madison location this past weekend, this review is for her. The Madison location is an absolute nightmare, but Chloe did amazing under so much pressure and did an absolutely wonderful job after being talked to so poorly by other customers. She had no control over their complaints, as it was all about the manager and kitchen staff who all just walked out I guess? This location is 100% better simply because she’s there. I trust that a good worker like her comes from a good team, so this store much have a very pleasant staff.

Good food but not a sit-down restaurant anymore, so no buffet or salad bar. The ranch flight was a little overwhelming to heavy on the flavor.

The pizza was hot and delicious, and the bottom of my pan crust was crispy. My only complaint on the pizza that did arrive in record time and handed off with a smile, was the lack of toppings that I’m accustomed to. I got maybe 1.5 pepperoni per slice, and a sprinkle of mushroom and black olives. My breadsticks were cold, hard, and old tasting so I didn’t eat them, but it had to just be an off night, because this is not how Pizza Hut usually sends their food out.

I have a fondness for these old school Pizza Huts and know a lot of you do too. We happened upon this one and were tickled to see it even had a lunch buffet that somehow worked for our schedule. I haven't had a PH buffet in many, many years, so I was thrilled to see that they had a good sized salad bar there as well! Everything was fresh and tasted great. They had pasta and dessert pizza as well as regular pizzas of all types. When we asked for stuffed crust pizza, they made one for the buffet...what great customer service! If you are going to the Dells it is worth your while to stop here before or after your trip.

I enjoyed this Pizza Hut very much. The dining rooms were empty. The "boss" lady was exceptionally practical, nice, and helpful. The pizza was great. I hope to be there tomorrow before I leave Baraboo to the locals who are celebrating George Washington's birthday. Happy birthday mr. President!
