Pizza Chef

You know, I so wanted to give 5 stars on the food as I expected a thin crust small pizza with pepperoni, sausage , mushrooms and black olives with extra cheese. The pizza was tasty but NOT NY style (way too thick on the crust) , the pepperoni and sausage were minuscule, if not missing! The mushroom and olive and extra cheese was adequate,,, I’m not sure how you can charge over $20 for a small (6piece) tiny pizza with virtually no meat! I’m sorry , please do better on ingredients, thx

Take it from an Italian girl Pizza Chef on Fruitville is hands down the best Pizza in Sarasota. Running neck and neck with Rico's on Bay Street. However, Pizza Chef bakes all his own crust and breads fresh from scratch, and makes all of his own homemade sause! The half frozen chocolate laced tiramisu is also hands down the best dessert ever! And I'm a cheesecake lover, so for me to say this about tiramisu means it's literally amazing lol. !!!

Best Italian food in Sarasota. I have not had a great pizza like this in a very long time. Amazing. Thank you.

This husband and wife duo are the best and the pizza is amazing!! Large thin NY style or thick Sicilian deliciousness. They have sandwiches too. When I worked in the plaza I was there at least once a week. I almost didn’t take a promotion to a new location because of not having Pizza Chef. No. Seriously! I make it a point to stop and get a slice whenever I’m in the area again.

To me this is the best pizza place in Sarasota! The pizza taste amazing, flat, crispy and hot with perfect amount of cheese and flavor on point! Not grease or that fake taste that you have from other places!!! You will love it!!!
