Customer Reviews
It’s aight.Very Livable space.I live in the 5th floor bathroom. Staff tried kicking me out but I ran that fade in the back right quick and we were all good in the end. No biggie. Also a good place to study and I recommend Einstein bros bagels in the first floor, security is mad weak so if you want to live here you definitely can if you have hands.
Probably one of the better libraries I’ve been to in my life. Been a Slu student for 8+ years and this place is always great. There is a floor for everyone to study. You can find a casual social atmosphere on the first and second floor, with the first floor offering printing and computer services. The first floor also has a coffee shop. The higher the floor, the quieter the study space. My personal favorite is the fourth floor because that offers an amazing view of St. Louis and SLU’s campus while you study. There are dedicated study rooms for group meetings/discussions and silent single cubby study rooms in the core of each floor. I’ve been to many libraries in the St Louis area and this one is probably the best (better than Washington Universities). My only qualms 1)parking is difficult
Since the renovation, it's become a clean, legitimate place to study. No smell. 1st floor is packed with chatty ugrads during test week, but second floor and up are quite nice even then. The place has good security (needs SLU ID to enter, then they check you, also need SLU ID and password to use the computers).
Probably fine for SLU students, but I have had the misfortune of visiting as a member of the public a dozen times or so. There's a lengthy sign-in process, and I've had some incredibly rude comments sent my way by members of the staff. I'd recommend avoiding this location.
Lots of quiet places to study. The Lewis Annex is an amazing place to find old and new theological texts. The staff is helpful, and they are willing to buy whatever you suggest to them if they don't have it!
