Pittzarella

Tonight was our first, and unfortunately our last visit. The food tasted very good. However, as my husband was biting into his pizza, there was a long hair stuck in it. I don't know if employers don't wear hair nets or what, but it was stomach-turning. What a shame.....it tasted good.

I've been here over a year now and finally got a hold of some decent pizza 🍕 im so tired of tasteless or sweet sauce pizza. when I tell you the flavors in the pizza through and through we're perfection 😋 Then we got a make your own calzone with steak, pepperoni and bacon, The flavors in that were even more explosive 🤞🏽😉 OH?! THE BEST PART IS, THE PRICES!!! 13.99 for the XL pizza $1 toppings $8 something for the calzone 🤯🤯 definitely worth it!!!

Kind of a mediocre pizza spot. It wasn't awful, but not the best either. The prices for this place are pretty decent and the quality is the same at most other Pittsburgh pizza places. I just ordered the cheese calzone. I think the calzone was a bit undercooked. I prefer there to be a sort of crispiness on the edges. This one wasn’t too too soggy, but it definitely wasn’t the best texture. They added a pretty ample amount of cheese. Quite a lot of ricotta, which I do like, but not a ton of mozzarella or provolone. The sauce was unremarkable. Portions were okay. All in all, a fairly standard pizza place, perhaps a tad below average. The calzone is simply fine, not good or bad. Probably wont be returning.

A pizza place with a few locations in the Pittsburgh area. Aptly named. This one was closest to me, and I was able to confirm via phone that they were still operating. Their online presence is minimal, and I'm not sure the site's working right now. They do have at least one of the food delivery apps (Grubhub?), and that's what told me they were still in business. How was that? The very high and recent reviews, which I agree with! The place is easy to get to. Quaint. And has some space inside to sit. Maybe even eat. So not the most minimal of pizza places around by far, but still - the food takes center stage. The pizza was delightful. Thin crust, crispy, and a greasy pizza. Should have went there sooner. Staff is friendly, pizza is delicious. They put the sauce and cheese all the way to edge of crust.
