Customer Reviews
Our first trip North this winter and had to stop and check out Pittsburg's newest eatery. It was cold and we needed respite, so the 3pm opening time worked to our advantage. Started with the french onion soup which was absolutely delicious (and a generous serving!) The staff was attentive, and offered great insight and opinions. For our meals we had the Smashburger with a side of onion rings, and the Cavatappi Mac & Cheese (with pulled pork, of course.) Both were equally delicious. The onion rings were lightly battered which we like, and the Mac & Cheese came with a side salad. We also tried specials off their drink menu! We wish we had visited at night when the band plays, but there is always next time :) Highly recommend.
Visited twice so far. Chicken tenders have an amazing light batter. Good smash burger, good pulled pork. Soup of the day was a sausage chowder, top notch. Bar pizza was getting rave reviews from others at the table. I'll be back.
I have been waiting for over an hour for my appetizers. We had to ask the manager/owner just to be able to order our food. The drinks are terrible. The service is not much better. I strongly suggest going to 1840 instead. This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!
The building is beautiful, love the exposed beams and over all look. Unfortunately due to the wide open space of the dinning area it is very noisy. We were very disappointed with the food. While the caramelized onions in the smash burger were tasty but the burger itself tasted like the premade cheap patties you buy in bulk. The steak tips were tough. The onion rings were insanely greasy. The pizza was way over cook. The chicken wings were tiny, dry and the server did not ask how we wanted them prepared, so she chose plain. The service was insanely slow and our server was either having the worst night of her life or she hates her job. I might be back to check out a band but I will hold off on dinning there until I hear things have improved.
I had buffalo tenders the Smashburger and onion rings. All were good and the buffalo tenders are top notch.
