Pittsfield Public Library

Love this library! It's amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff members. Very clean, quiet, and cozy environment. And not to mention the vast selection of books and movies to choose from. The library offers many different fun programs for all ages, including Story Time for kiddos. It is a very fun place to be 🤩 Check it out if you haven't already!

What a wonderful community space! Kids have a safe place to be, adults have free wifi and a plethora of activities! The book sale by donation is the best!!! Very clean facilities, well maintained, and very cozy!

My favorite place in Pittsfield. Amazing staff. Some of the most helpful and nicest people you'll ever meet. They have great programs and events for kids and adults; including weekly story time for toddlers, summer reading reward program, Lego Club, author visits, book club meetings, etc. They have a children's center set up downstairs, with plenty of toys, books, movies, and space to play. They have large and small meeting rooms you can request time for, or use if no one else is scheduled. The staff is amazingly helpful in almost any request you can think of. And of course they also have free WiFi and laptops to use for your internet/computer needs. The only library I've been to that doesn't feel overly stuffy and shooshed!

It's a nice little library with a decent assortment of books, movies audiobooks, and helpful librarians.
