Pitkins Fish & Chicken

This is a very good place to eat, especially if you live in the area. It offers really healthy options. I like getting them the salmon and veggies everyday for lunch. It's reasonably priced... A little high, but that's the cost of convenience. Convenience. The people at the front counter are super nice and will customize the order how you want, I don't like a lot of sodium or salt so I asked them to put less on there and they do it for me. But it's fast and fresh. This is my new everyday lunch spot!

Got shrimp fried rice and a fresh salad. The fried rice was sooooo oily, that we just dumped it. But the salad was on another level. The veggies were spoiling (look at the photos). I returned it the next day for my money. Wish I didn't dump the fried rice out of the bowl, otherwise I would've returned that too. Yuck so disgusting, never again.

I tried the shrimp and fries today. My food was heated well when I got home everything retained its freshness. The fries didn’t have flavor to it, so hot sauce was needed. The shrimp were decent and was seasoned flavor well. For $8 I wasn’t mad and it’s more local for me so it tasted more close to home. I’m going to come back and try something else.

I called and placed an ordered for pick up with a guy. Told him how I wanted my food or else it would be hard to eat. I let someone pick the order up. When I received it, the rice was burnt or over cooked like they scraped the bottom of the pot and gave me the hard clumps. The fish was half way cooked. I don’t want food poisoning, This was the last time, I refuse to support a business that wouldn’t support any of the other restaurants in the community. You will not get rich from me especially if it’s not deserved

Only had the fish meals from here. I usually get two pieces with brown rice Fish portions are a good size. Fish Comes in a few different flavors (Italian herb teriyaki lemon herb and honey ginger) custom service is always welcoming and a pleasant experience
