PITA Mediterranean Street Food - Montgomery

Overall the food was great, but the restaurant was a bit dirty (typical for this part of Montgomery). Both restrooms were out of soap and the towel dispenser only gave out about 1 1/2” of towel. (Are employees washing their hands?) But the food was very good! Spicy Humus was on point even with the gluten-free pita option. The mini Gyro was the perfect size. The pita was soft and flavorful and perfectly lightly grilled. The beef gyro meat was flavorful. The French fries were perfectly fried and seasoned shoestring fries and excellent for dipping in the humus. Recommend you try this place out. Several gluten-free options available from rice, to salad, to GF pita.

This place is in my regular rotation. Sometimes I do takeout, sometimes I dine in. It's always excellent. The Greek fries are so good! The chicken, shawarma, and gyro beef are all excellent. The hummus and pita are both great. The gyros are great. I've tried a variety of menu items and I haven't had a single thing that I didn't like. I much prefer this place over Tazikis farther into Eastchase.

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. The staff was very polite, more than happy to answer my questions, and my food came out quickly. I ordered the Signature Gyro with chicken (spicy), the Garbanzo Salad and Baklava. The gyro was packed with flavor and plenty of meat, the pita bread was excellent! The Garbanzo salad wasn’t bad, just a little bland. The baklava was amazing! The eating area was spotless. Not traditional Mediterranean food, but they have a fun and delicious twist on it. Came back a second time and ordered the gyro (spicy), Mediterranean fries, and baclava cheesecake, all were delicious! The gyro was stuffed and had the perfect balance of spice, fries were crispy and the sauces in them were amazing, the cheesecake were perfectly balanced.

A friend and I visited there for the first time Dec 20,2026. The food was great. The amount of good was great for the price. I am looking forward to visiting again. My friend had a platter with salmon and rice. I had a pita with shrimp and rice .
