The food was great. The staff was very friendly. There was some kind of crazy witch party going on while we were there, but it didn't affect us having a good time.

Great service! Food was very good-love the homemade chips with ranch dressing! Ideal beach atmosphere. People were enjoying the line dancing in the main dining room so we opted to sit in the enclosed porch area. They turned the heater on for us as it was a bit chilly. I should have checked the entertainment for that evening and altered our time as the dining room would have been more comfortable. Regardless, our overall experience is one I would repeat.

45 min wait for food and the place was maybe 40% capacity. Food came out cold and poor quality. Even our server said it looked bad. No mention of a refund or anything. Check out the kids grilled cheese. Just toast with cold Kraft slices

We visit OKI often and are always excited to try new breakfast spots—so we were pumped to see Pirates Deck now open in the mornings! This place has such a fun, laid-back vibe and tons of space, which is a big plus during the busy season. It’s nice to have another breakfast option that gives you room to spread out and doesn’t come with a long wait. Inside is clean, bright, and really cute—exactly the kind of spot where you want to start your day. The service was fantastic—everyone was super friendly and our food came out hot and fast. You can tell they’ve got a good team running the show. The menu had a great variety—something for every kind of breakfast person—and the prices were almost too good to be true. We recently visited Pirates Deck in Oak Island, North Carolina, hoping for a fun and satisfying family meal, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark. I ordered the shrimp platter, which was decent but lacked the fresh, coastal flavor I was expecting. My wife went with the BLT sandwich — simple and serviceable, but again, nothing that stood out. One of our sons had the wings, the other had the chicken tenders, and both said they were “fine,” which kind of sums up the overall vibe of the meal.
