Piqueo's

Having passed by this restaurant numerous times, we thought we'd give this place a try for lunch. Indeed we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the calamari and the beef short rib. The spices used on the short rib was so lovely and the beef was sooo tender yet juicy. Also ordered the paloma cocktail - it was also quite good. Worth another try another day !

Tasty Peruvian food. Service could be better. Also noticed that they've started charging for things that used to be offered as complimentary, like the plantain chips. We particularly enjoyed the ceviche mixto, the tequenos, short ribs, salmon, and paella. Overall, it is a good place to enjoy some good quality Peruvian cuisine.

The food here was outstanding. The flavors are exciting and the presentation is beautiful. Unfortunately while the service started out great it quickly fell off after the hurriedly delivered our food and drinks. We sat outside and the space was pretty dilapidated, uncomfortable, and crowded. Finally, I'd expect any Peruvian place to make a good Pisco Sour but I found theirs way to sweet.

This is my first time here. I am satisfied with the overall experience. We had the Lomo Saltado the causa and I had seared tuna . We also had the crab cakes. It was all good but didn't care too much for the red rice that came with the tuna dish. I'd come back again for sure.

Piqueo's restaurant offers Peruvian food. Everything that we ate was delicious, lots of flavor. The ceviche was my favorite. The staff were nice, and they spoke Spanish, which is great when going to a Latin restaurant. My only complaint would be that the table were too small for two people. There is enough room to have bigger tables. The music was a bit loud, but not a big deal. And it took longer than usual to get our food, and the table besides us, got it before, even they came after. I have been there twice and would definitely go back and recommend it. Gracias.
