Pioneer Library System - Norman Public Library East

We come to do bi weekly meetings with homeschool teacher. Sometimes no issues, BUT other times its incredibly loud for a library! I have never heard a librarian ask people talking loudly to quiet down. I can accept whispers, but some people last time were talking so loud. Cell phones not set to silence. People silence is golden!

hmm. There is a rule on this library rules of conduct that does not make any sense. it says that it is not permitted to smoke on library "grounds" without a sign that tells people that they cannot do such thing. other than that I've seen many people smoking outside the building and I've never seen anyone inform them about this rule. There is always one specific employee comes to me with a disgusting attitude and even threatening me when I ask why there is no sign on the building telling people that they cannot do such thing. If I see anyone smoking out there from this moment and since I know there are cameras out there I will take legal actions to find out why exactly always on specific employee comes to me when I am smoking out there while I am not bothering or applying harm to anyone

My kids used to enjoy coming here to play, but they’ve gotten rid of half of their toys. It’s not worth coming here anymore, which is sad since there are so few places to take kids to in Norman for free when the weather is bad.

Warm place to get in from the cold. A place to learn and grow and the chair made an interesting design with the ice.

Beautiful new addition to our public library suite of options. Great location for our expanding community.
