Pio Pio Café & Restaurant - 5800 Hudson

Not really one to post but this one really did it. Service over the phone was nothing but horrible, the lady on the phone was less than pleasant and not friendly at all. Now the food was absolutely horrendous, food was delivered cold and spilled all over the bag. We ordered a steak medium cook and received it beyond overcooked and dry. Aside from the driver calling saying he was outside and ended up being in the completely wrong address. Would definitely stay away from this location and order from the PIO PIO located a couple of blocks down. If I could honestly rate their service and food zero stars I would certainly do it. STAY AWAY!!!

The Lechon asado is excellent. Arroz amarillo perfect. Generally a solid Spanish restaurant. If you don't speak Spanish, use the menu or write down what you want in Spanish from the menu. They don't always have someone to speak English. But the food is excellent.

I usually like this place. But it only takes one time to be disrespectful!! The sweet plantains we're old and overly fried .. the steak sandwich has crumbles of meat scattered fries no sauce or cheese dry with hard bread. The small pork chops are overly salted and not worth the price. My tongue is stinging from the salt. That's not ok!!! I called the restaurant who doesn't understand English completely and wouldn't fix their mistake because of this. Unacceptable!!! And all can the manager can say is call Uber eats it's not his problem. How rude.!!! Uber eats didn't make the food!!! Poor management service!!

First time I ordered delivery and the food was so fresh I was actually surprised. This time I decided to do take out. When I arrived it was a small location, a little crowed and I was greeted almost immediately. I waited less than five minutes and was able to observe my food get it’s finishing touches. Red Snapper in garlic sauce. The beans and rice came on the side.

The lettuce was old. Now my stomach is feeling horrid. The lettuce was brown. And also the fries were old. Very disappointed because I used to always go to that restaurant.
