The original. Amazing food and atmosphere. The best sangria in Queens. Fast service. Upstairs bathrooms for wheelchairs . Great open space. Super friendly fast service.

I had the shrimp chaufa rice and the lomo saltado. The food looked good but unfortunately it was too salty for my taste, specially the lomo saltado. The meat was tender, but I was disappointed to see shrimps from a frozen bag in my chaufa rice instead of real size shrimp when I paid $26 just for that rice. I was also shocked that their menu had no drinks listed(alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and the waiter told me that if I wanted an alcoholic drink, I had to just tell him what drink I wanted and the bar tender would make it. That was a first for me. The online menu has the drinks, I don’t understand why they couldn’t print one. Overall, I think if they can reduce the sodium a little bit, it would have been a much better experience.

The food is always delicious!! This chupe de Camaron is to die for!! Perfect for the cold weather. The service is always top! They play classic Hispanic music and they make you feel home with every song. Thank you Pio Pio!!

The food is served family style. The fried calamari to me was over cooked, the ceviche could have been served more. Not enough ingredients in the ceviche. We had the $74. Deal which was whole chicken, salad, 1 scoop of yellow rice with beans. We were a group of 6 that scoop of rice was not enough especially for the price they charge also comes with french fries and sausages. So we ordered more rice and beans. The fried yucca was delicious with that green sauce. I had the red sangria but was told the white sangria taste better. The staff were very nice, attentive and quick to serve us.

Great experience for Mothers Day brunch. Service, food and sangria were delicious and very enjoyable. Everything we had from ceviche mixto and other dishes were 10/10. Highly recommend the sangria, one of the best I’ve ever had. We got the pitcher, good amount and refreshing. This is walk in only, recommend going early ( as soon as they open) for a good table on weekends. Great place over all, good for family events or special occasions. Spacious also, tables are apart. Certainly will be returning soon.
