The place is cute, the variety is large & the service is great. However, while the donuts are fun they're wayyy too sweet. Almost inedible & that's coming from someone with a huge sweet tooth. Buy the donut. Tske the picture and enjoy one bite! Lol I can see kids loving this.
This is my first time trying pinkbox doughnuts. Upon walking in, it is very inviting. So much varieties of doughnuts to choose from. The lady who helped me was super nice and provided great recommendations. I did pretty good and limited myself to four. I tried: 1. Love my PB&J - It was alright nothing special. PB&J ratio was off. Jelly was only on one side. Peanut butter was on top. 2. Plain face douchcro - Honestly this one was pretty dry. 3. Chocolate Ol Fashioned - overly sweet 4. Crème brûlée - a pass for me. Nothing popped or made it stand out. It was just a custard donut. The donuts were mediocre at best. Over priced and nothing special. I came in the morning so the donuts should have tasted fresher. I feel like this place has been over hyped by social media.
I don't have a sweet tooth. Okay, I have a sweet tooth, but I keep it in check by limiting my sugar intake, but every now and then I reward myself and this is where I go. My favorites are the Apple Fritters or the "old fashioned" (buttermilk?) donuts. They have lots of other flavors to choose from and they even have a couple of vegan choices. Yeah, I forgot to take a picture, but this pic from Pink Box's Facebook page very much represents what you can expect and they are delicious! 😋
We really enjoyed Pinkbox Doughnuts. We loved the lively and bright atmosphere. The service was also great. The lady who helped us was so friendly and we didn’t feel rushed choosing through their huge selection. The doughnuts were so cute and they’re huge. They were not too sweet and definitely fresh. I was hoping they would be softer. They were a bit chewier than I thought they would be, but honestly not a deal breaker. Definitely worth a try.
As a Krispy Kreme fiend, I usually don't venture off to try other gimmick donut places, but I think this place is pretty justified. I got the apple pie and raspberry cheesecake. Neither were at all disappointing. Recommend trying both! Be aware there are small menu differences from past photos, so if you are expecting to try purple rain Ube donut, that no longer exists.
