Appetizers were good. DO NOT get the High Thai'd pizza. It was maybe the worst pizza I have ever had. I couldn't even eat a whole piece and I'm cheap so that's saying something. It was not remotely Asian or Thai, it was soggy and drenched in so much honey that it tasted like dessert with onions on top. To be clear, I am usually a fan of unique specialty pizzas. This was disgusting. The crust was good. It's probably decent food if you stick with normal pizza, but I'm not sure I'll ever know.
Pinchgut has the best appetizers east of the Mississippi! Amazing happy hour deals and cold beer. Bella is an amazing server. Always so attentive and positive. If I’m visiting the trussville entertainment district, pinchgut is the only choice! (Fried ravioli has always been a favorite but tried the cheese bread tonight and loved it!!)
Little Caesar’s is more flavorful and cheaper than this place. Looking at the photos they advertise I was so excited and looking forward to trying them out. As you can see one pizza looks delicious and the one I was served just looks sad. I wish I took a pic of my husbands pizza. Literal clumps of guacamole all over it. It just looked so not appetizing unlike the photos they advertise. It’s obvious no care is put into presentation or flavor at all. How can a taco pizza have no flavor??? If you like pizza you probably won’t like this place.
Stopped in for a quick bite after a long day, and when I tell you the taco pizza and cold beer cured me, I mean it. First time having a taco pizza, and I knew when they brought it out, that I made the right choice. It was so cheesy, packed with flavor, and covered in toppings. 10/10 on the pizza. 11/10 on the house made ranch. It's thick, very herbal, and zesty. Get that to dip the crust in! Trust me. We went on Friday night and they have games for families, so it was a bit loud. Just a heads up! If you want it to be quite, they have outdoor sitting. Honestly, such a great spot!
We love the pizza and the atmosphere. Service, unfortunately, has been hit or miss. We haven't tried the takeout yet, but at this point that might be the way to go.
