Piggy Express Restaurant

Obviously, it's not a fancy seat down Chinese restaurant, but the sesame chicken and garlic sauce broccoli were fresh and tasty. Very good place for a pit stop meal if you're sick of fast food chains.

This was my 1st time eating here. I had passed by several times but 2 be honest I never tried it because frm looking at it on the outside you wouldn't consider that they would have the best food. It's located in an old waffle house looks like but I was picking up a pieces of furniture and ask about it and was told, "It doesn't look like it frm outside but the food is real good". So we decided to try and even though it isn't a fancy looking place the food was good, it was cooked yo order, staff was very friendly and helpful, the gentleman cooking was very nice and they were very accommodating. I am the type that will test a place 2 see how the staff treats you. Customer svs 2 me if very important when dealing with people. I have passed this restaurant numerous times while traveling out of town. It barely catches your eye, but it's enough to stick out in your mind when you see "hibachi" on a sign in Baxley! After a long day for both of us, I made the decision to drag my husband away from home for dinner. We walked in and were immediately greeted by (I assume) the owner, who was also taking orders and cooking. He was extremely polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely cheerful to other diners and when taking call-in orders. He brought our food to us when it was ready and made sure we had all we needed for dinner. The menu is a mix between hibachi and Chinese, which is a DELIGHT to me. Lives up to its name , " express " fast service, decent food, reasonable prices, outside of the building needs work but if u can over look that i would recommend. Nice people inside. 🙂

We were very skeptical from the appearance. However, the food, service and prices exceed our expectations. For three of us all ordering hibachi steak and shrimp with drinks and one egg roll it was $55. You order at the counter and it is cooked fresh to order while you wait. There is seating available which we did but noticed most people were getting taken out.
