Aside from docking the floating museums of the USS Panpanito submarine and SS Jeremiah O'Brien Liberty ship, this is our favorite area to look out onto the bay while enjoying a piping hot bowl of clam chowder. It offers a great view of Alcatraz, along with the sensory experiences I associate Fisherman's Wharf with: Cool ocean breezes, boat horns, the call of seagulls, and the smell of pier wood and oil. Love it! OVERALL: Not overly crowded, awesome views.
Vintage arcade , very impressive still running well. Fun for any age.
Had a fun eventful day. If wanna checkout a sub and beautiful scenery. This is the place. Can get packed during weekend. Tours are not bad in price but not cheap if have large family. Still enjoyed our day.
Very educational!!! Nice scenery while you wait. Can also go into quarter arcade with a lot of old arcade games. It was a lot of fun. Great for a family outing.
Pier 45 must be visited when you visit Fisherman’s Wharf area at San Francisco. A building with a lot of amazing, historical, fun, clever, intriguing, treasurable & memorable “arcade” machines from past decades. When everything was so simple & long lasting… Hours of fun playing & watching those vintage machines working to entertain you. Brought back precious memories of my grand parents.
