Pickens County Library System - Sarlin Library - Liberty

Fantastic, diverse collection of books. Also, i like that they have an eclectic assortment of authors of color. They also celebrated pride. Living in the South, you can appreciate a natural non bias library like this. 10/10 best place.

Impressive!!! I went there to get one book in particular. Sarlin's Liberty had a neat small display of books for Black History Month. I found a wonderful book entitled Liberia, S.C. An African American Appalachian Community here in Pickens, Co. Preserved and dated from around 1840 to the present.. I was impressed because I did not expect to see any acknowledgement of our culture.

Asked my wife and she loves it. I usually sit in the truck and take a nap because I work strange bhours and sleep when I can. No shade in parking lot. Usually a group of teens standing by the front door smoking so you have to walk through that.

We are closer to a bigger library branch but we visited this one because of its seed library. This is our first visit to this branch and I have to say its wonderful. Its small but it has a bunch of activities for children, seed library, yard game rentals and much more!
