PICASSO TAQUERIA & MEDITERRANEAN

Place is legit and just wow. A fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican flare. The fish stew or Bisque is bomb. Huge portion! Almost too much as I want to try other things. Very hearty and unique. The tacos are more traditional and west coast style at east coast price. Barbacoa has just the right amount of beef and fixins be sure to add some lime to it for some zest. I did notice a few "specials" like the chicken humus plate that comes with pita and side salad. Tastes amazing, just call it out to the staff who do an excellent job. The back kitchen and food runners are awesome and at the front Christina is a Gem! Delicious hummus platter! The cucumber salad had the most delicious vinaigrette. The hummus presentation was spectacular and it tasted delicious. Great pita points. Dessert case has a nice selection of items - I chose the key lime cheesecake and it was very good. Atmosphere is more like a dining hall or food court, but it's not crowded and is very clean.

Had to stroll around a few parking lots to find this place. The service is fast surprisingly and friendly staff as well. Upon receiving the food, I was skeptical. We got the salmon plate and the Turkish pizza. I have to say, the food exceeded my expectations as sometimes, fresh and yes the food was very fresh, can sometimes taste bland, but this was well seasoned and tasty. The star of the show, the slices of raw tomatoes that cane with the pizza and the tzatziki sauce. This was hands down the best tomatoes Ive ever had lol, sweet and savory I couldnt resist how juicy and tasty it was. With the combination everything comes together so well that something so simple yet so fresh can have so much flavors popping. Definitely recommend and would be a place I stop by if Im from the area.

Most likely the best quesadilla in the Mooresville area…. Yeah… I said it!!!! Chicken was juicy, cheese was perfectly melted, and the tortilla was nicely toasted. Comes with rice, beans, and plenty of salsa/sour cream on the side. It was super filling and comforting. Laid-back spot with solid food. Would definitely come back when I’m craving something easy and satisfying.

We enjoyed our meals here at Picasso. It is a mix of Mediterranean and Mexican, plus desserts. A great place for a large group with its long tables and bench seating. Ordering is done at the counter and beverages are self-serve. The owner was super sweet and brought us ice cream while we waited for our meals. The presentation was beautiful and unexpected for this casual restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass which comes with a true Greek salad and a side of couscous- all delicious. The only opportunity would be that the portion of sea bass was a bit small for the price point, but the meal overall was satisfying. Thus my 4 of 5 rating for food.
