Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse

Pleasant restaurant. The food is good, I’d rate it an 8/10. I liked the table, the heavy cutlery, and everything was clean. The service itself is very good. Unfortunately, this is more of an owner’s issue: there is only one person working. The same person greets you at the door, seats you, takes your order, works the bar, clears the tables, brings the food, and brings the check. It’s simply too much for one person to handle an entire restaurant alone, even though they still provide excellent service. They should hire at least two more people. Because of this, the experience was slightly disappointing: the dishes took a long time to arrive and were brought out one by one (there were three of us).

This is no longer a Brazilian steakhouse! I believe the ownership has changed. The service has changed. No one really spoke English and couldn’t understand what I was asking for. They didn’t have cheese bread and to add insult to injury, they didn’t know what it was. They couldn’t make a caipirinha drink and had to look it up online and still got it wrong. I’m very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and acted like they didn’t care about us being there. The place was not busy at all, maybe just one other couple so there was no reason for the lack of attention or poor service. We were barely acknowledged, and no one checked on us properly throughout the meal. The food was even more disappointing. It tasted like leftovers that had been reheated instead of freshly made. The flavors were bland, and the overall quality did not match the prices being charged. This was supposed to be a nice evening out, but it turned into a letdown. Absolutely awful for the price. Me and my girlfriend went at 8pm on a Sunday. We were seated immediately but told that they don’t have anything other than pasta. No desserts, no entrees, nothing except the salad bar, meats, and pasta. We were never given a menu, even after explicitly asking twice. The salad bar was very lacking, though the cheese and broccoli soup was good. The meat was acceptable for the price, though the steak was not very flavorful. We were charged $20 for piña coladas and had a $25 tip tacked onto the bill without asking. There are a thousand restaurants you could go to that would offer better service and food for the price.
