Piatt County Nursing Home

Drove from Nashville to see my Grandma in the Alzheimer’s Unit. We visited today between 2-3 and cannot speak more highly of the staff there! They were so attentive to every person and when talking to my grandma about her upcoming birthday on Monday; someone from staff overheard and went to confirm her age! Happy my grandma is in such good hands. Thank you all for everything. I know it ain’t easy but their families appreciate you so so much.

This nursing home does not have good employees. Most employees like to sit around and do nothing being on their phones. They like to run out all the best employees they do have and keep around the ones that want to just sit around and do nothing. This so called establishment needs to work on getting the right/great employees working or are already working.

The Piatt County Nursing Home nursing staff is composed of the most professional, caring and experienced healthcare workers I have ever encountered. The health Journey with my husband has been long and trying.  He was a patient in a skilled nursing and then  $17,000 a month luxury facility in Florida.  He resided in two facilities in Champaign Illinois. All had insufficient nursing staff and a revolving door of caregivers.  My husband was NOT SAFE. I had to hire private caregivers and even nurse my husband myself at these facilities. Then, I found Piatt County Skilled Memory Care where the staff is consistent, loving and caring.  They care for patients and their families.  Patients are not only safe but nurses and aides advocate for their care with doctors and Hospice.
