Went to eat on a Friday and had an impressive experience. Place was slammed and an hour before closing but that didn’t stop the owner from sitting us immediately and taking our order shortly after. Apps and pho arrived quickly and efficiently. Not sure I’ve ever had such quick service before. Food was delicious and I will definitely return next time I’m in town!

Great place to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I stumble upon this restaurant when we moved to Phoenix. I was going to next door milk run. I tried this soup call Bun Mam. Since I tried that I've always ordered that soup when I go there. Move back to SD CA still have not found same soup that I love like this place has. Lot of fresh veggies/herbs. Thick rice stick noodles, fatty pork, eggplant, shrimp, calamari, fish, lemongrass, fermented fish flavor. Very hardy soup. If you are not afraid of bold flavors I recommend trying this soup!! #53 on the menu. Don't forget to get the chilli crisps from the pot sitting in the middle/back of restaurant. They should bottle that and sell it!

Pho Dac biet very flavorful. The short ribs was a little tough. Would be better if meat falls off the bone. Thit nuong is not your regular grilled pork meat. It more like a patty form but not too sweet or salty. Banh cuon was a thick for the dough almost like the banh gio. Nem nuong cuon - was slice think. Overall the food was pretty decent. Service was quick. They weren't busy when we had come in on a Sunday morning. It's an older location but very spacious.

They’re quick here but you better order everything at once because we tried to add egg rolls and they said “ok”… and that was the last we ever saw of them 😂. Honestly though, maybe they were doing me a favor because I was already full and fat. The staff always seem super serious, but I think that’s just how they are don’t take it personal, they’re just out here making sure the pho gets to you fast. And it does. Big bowl, hot, delicious one of the best I’ve had. Bonus points for having a door that leads straight to the boba shop next door. they knew exactly what they were doing when they built that. 10/10 would come back

This is a comparison to Da Vang, which I prefer, though this is very solid. On the whole, a bit blander: less salty, less sweet, less fish sauce (and less nuoc cham given) - though I couldn't say if the intensity I'm used to is an Americanization or not. The grilled pork is finer (more like a meatball than Da Vang's semi-chunky grind) and less charred. The tofu skin is really interesting texturally - a nice, crispy contrast to the emulsified interior. The shrimp was small enough to be pitiful - size is not an issue in itself, but here it felt insubstantial. Otherwise, these are general QA issues that I happened to encounter but are fairly random when ordering com tam everywhere. The egg was fried at a lower temperature and with less oil than ideal, resulting in less crispy browning and a
