Incredible pho with huge portions and great service! I can eat, but had to take home half of their 'The Works' pho. And that broth... bright, deep, packed with umami! Their Michelin Bib Gourmand (in less than a year!) is well deserved. The owner, Hai, has such great energy and makes you feel right at home. Had a chance to listen to his interactions with not only the people at the counter, but with the staff and some customers ordering take out - you know he takes care of everyone coming into his space by how he addresses the people. Kudos to the attentive and friendly staff too! Also, the kumquat 'soda' is a total game-changer—uniquely refreshing. It's really kumquat in carbonated water, so nothing artificial. Highly recommend this place and experience!

Had a VERY yummy lunch here, I’ve never been to a pho restaurant like this one. You can build your own with very cool options or choose from their offerings. They also have sate broth which I had never tried before and was pleasantly surprised! I would come back just for the salted iced coffee by itself too, it was delicious and reminded me of coffee I had in Vietnam and haven’t been able to find in DC so far. The people who worked there were so nice and professional, especially Long, and were happy to have us. I will be back for more soon!

As a Vietnamese and Pho lover, this IS the place to go! What makes this place the most unique pho spot for me is the noodles. I heard from a friend that they import the noodles from somewhere, I don't remember where though. The broth is fantastic and how pho should generally be judged, however, these noodles stand out and makes a world of a difference in terms of how buttery they taste. (I doubt it's butter, but I can't find a tasty adjective to describe how delicious/special these noodles are). They're so great to slurp up! Phoxotic is also great with their take outs! I've added pictures to show their setup, and it's way more intricate and fresh than other take outs I've had. I didn't have to warm anything up in a pot, or microwave, it was good to go! With that said, I do think you get

Been looking for a pho place like this in the DC area for a second. Stamp of approval from this Vietnamese guy. If I found this in my hometown (which has a lot of Vietnamese people) I would legitimately think it was delicious. The addition of the fresh made noodles and beef rib options really make this place stick out in addition to the rest of the ingredients. The ONE think to manage your expectations, is be ready for the higher prices. It’s the DMV…and also I would struggle to find a pho place as good for a lower price point

This is hands down the best pho which hits the soul, the Broth is so flavorful and the noodles are just outstanding! The Pho comes with the thicker noodles which are the real pho noodles, they are made daily and you can definitely taste the freshness in them! As you approach the restaurant from the street, you can smell the wonderful aroma of the pho broth which starts making your mouth water! Don't let the wait times deter you from eating here, it is busy for a reason, it is absolutely worth the wait! The chef and owner Hai is very knowledgable and definitely puts a lot of love into making these delicious bowls of pho. The ingredients are very high quality, the meat was tender and the broth had lots of depth. Hai was a butcher, so the cuts of meat definitely don't disappoint. Make sur
