The atmosphere is dope!! It’s a cool vibe, no drama…I went on a Saturday which is reggae night, the DJ is GARBAGE! Omg! He literally plays the song for half of second, can’t even catch a vibe off the song cause this trash bag changes the freaking song….then the songs he was playing was trash to me…I guess I’m not into that reggae…..first time going & for a $20 door fee, I was NOT impressed…..literally the worse DJ I’ve ever heard smh.

I ordered food to go. It was a bit before normal lunchtime. I must say they must be clean because the bleach smell was STRONG. Someone was mopping. I hope she wears a mask in the future. That bleach can have long-term effects, though I do appreciate the cleanliness. On to the food. I ordered Jerk chicken, cabbage, and plantains. The Jerk chicken was spicy with a hint of sweetness. I was going to eat only half, but ended up eating more. The cabbage was a bit different. I've had it with carrots before, but it also had bits of green beans. It was different, yet tasty. They were firm, not mushy, which is how I prefer it. The plantains were good. I prefer them with the crispy ends, but they were still soft and sweet. Overall, I enjoyed the food. I'll have to pop in again.

I told the owner andddd chef my dood was not cooked fully. The owner tried to convince me that I would be okay because the temperature of the frier was set at 500 degrees. He said “it’s undercooked, not raw”…….. and to fix it instead of even a refund I was given more chicken tenders…. Like I wanted any more food from here.

Stopped in to grab some food from riding my motorcycle all morning. Never been here before but, I saw they have Soul food so I stopped in to try it out. I ordered the Fried Shrimp with mozzarella sticks, cornbread, cabbage and it was deliciously amazing. Definitely worth a stop in, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will come back again for sure 👌🏽
