Pho'Dera

Recently passed through Madera and stopped to eat here. It was delicious. They have many soup options as well as appetizers, sandwiches food choices. We got sea food pho, and my son got chicken chowmein. He loved it! Place is a bit outdated, but food and service was good.

Pho review time. Total cost 24$ pho, tea and a tip. Came in and this place wants you to order when you come in. I ordered the 12 steak and tendon with extra tendon. They even put the extra tendon in a bowl on the side which I added in so the hot soup heats it up. Its a one size bowl. I also got a matcha latte. The pho broth id say is more of a Lao style. Its flavorful with beef and spice notes. The noodles are fresh. I liked the amount of basil, bean sprouts, jalepenos, and lemon. The chile oil is tasty its about a 6 as a Mexican spice scale. Overall id rate this pho a 4/5. It was good but not my favorite. My matcha latte is delicious I requested less sweet and its still pretty sweet. Just a heads up. Still the latte gets a 5/5. Really great Pho! Enjoyed it, big portion size! The orange chicken was delicious as well. Gotta try the boba and smoothies next time I go.

Truly a one stop Asian food restaurant. Vietnamese, Laos, Chinese and Boba. This place works a bit differently. It's like a fast food style. Order, pay and sit. Same fast service as expected. Got some pho, Vietnamese style chicken curry, it's actually pretty good. Some Thai tea, egg rolls and a Vietnamese sandwich. The sandwich looks great but the sauce paste is lacking. Need a lot more.
