Pho Yen Restaurant

This place is known for their pho, but their stir-fried dishes are surprisingly good too. I tried the red rice with shaking beef and it was delicious. The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely worth trying, even if you come here for the pho!

Stopped by Pho Yen on a random Tuesday for lunch. It’s definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of spot, but honestly a hidden gem. Ordered the pho dac biet and it was legit. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly — still had a nice bite to them instead of turning mushy like a lot of places do if you don’t eat fast enough. The broth was noticeably lighter than most pho spots around here, which actually made it feel more authentic and closer to what you’d get in Vietnam. Meat portions were generous and the herbs were fresh, which always makes a difference. It seems like business is a little slow, probably because not many people know about it yet, but this is definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re looking for authentic pho. I’ll be recommending it to a few of my Vietnamese friends too.

Went here with my husband and two little babies, service was excellent. The workers attended us as soon as we walked in and were very generous in also catering to my children. Additionally the food was also really good, we also ordered the shrimp chowfun but forgot to take a picture because we went in on it immediately. Portions are a good size in my opinion. We live in the High Desert but we’ll definitely be returning back! 10/10 thank you 😊

#V-8. Bun Cha Gio Dry Noodle with a Iced Milk French Pressed Viet Coffee. 1st time trying this newer Local hole-in-the-wall Viet spot. Its in The Hood though, the area is Calm and Safe now since I was last here years ago. Plenty of Parking in a Strip Mall Setting in the corner of the plaza. Reataurant was super Clean. I didnt use the Restroom to see how it was. Hospitable Server aims to please, greets you upon entering. Offered Suggestions. Place was empty except for one guy going to town on a large order with several bowls. A good sign. Food came out Super Fast. I got the Bun Cha Gio Heo Chao Tom - Dry Noodle (#V-8). Based on the online reviews, this place is one of the top-rated spots in the area, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The food was very good, and the service was excellent — warm and gentle. Highly recommended.
