Pho Xinh - Mount Laurel

I had the opportunity to eat at Pho Xinh, and overall it was a good experience. My favorite dish is the Pho Brisket. I would say there is a generous amount of brisket in the bowl, and the flavor is great. The other dish pictured is the rice with grilled pork. I’m told it was good, with a generous amount of pork. However the dish was basic, so the rating was a 4.6/5. I did take off one star due to the noticeable amount of gnats and the unsanitary condiment display. Additionally, we also ordered gyoza (not pictured) that came out cold and tasted like it was previously frozen.

Customers beware of exchange policy: I ordered chicken pad Thai .. the chicken quality was really bad / fishy / funky so I respectfully asked to replace the chicken with shrimp and was going to pay the difference , so I was respectfully handed out the menu again with the fine print stating no exchange or refund , server countered my complain that they source their chicken from great supplier, and was basically implicitly asked to stick to what I ordered . Been dining out for over 25 years never had such a cheap encounter. There is nothing better than American dining and American mindset / philosophy when it comes to customer service . I paid the full check , no tip of course and I didn’t touch the chicken . Never coming back .

I love this place it’s always very good. I like to get the Pho Brisket or the Vegetable pho along with the Thai tea! The staff is always very nice even during busy times they try their best to deliver great service. The only comment I have is it would be nice if there was less ice in the Thai tea the one I got was pretty packed with ice. Overall it is a very good pho spot!

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. We visited 30-minutes before closing (we didn’t realize it was about to close) but they still happily seated us and we didn’t feel rushed. The food was served quickly and it was delicious! We can’t wait to try more things from the menu. This time we’ll arrive early enough to sit longer and enjoy the full experience.

I’ve been coming here for over a year. Just recently staff has changed - service is poor. And to top it off, the serving sizes have gotten so much smaller the last few weeks. Similar to another review, I used to get 5 pieces of meat now only 2-3 max. What is going on here? I love the food but between the service and portion sizes declining I may have to find somewhere else.
