Very good Vietnamese food. It feels like classic vietnamese-american food, and its all made very well. Their fried egg rolls are delicious, and they make some pretty good boba too. Their pho is very flavorful and the bún was very bright and filling. I would absolutely come here again if I'm in the area! Although there is very little parking, and it's very odd/crooked parking, so be careful
Pho is legit here. And not just legit for Marin, legit in general. The meats taste clean and good (tendon is cooked well) and the broth is perfectly balanced and not too salty. When the flank steak is served slightly rare, you just know it's good. I've tried Pho all over the Bay and this holds its own. And easily the best Pho in Marin (tried them all). Interior is clean and appealing AND service is so fast.
The food was good but i dont see myself coming back The pho was not as rich as i prefer We were recommended the cubed steak which was very good. It was much more flavorful and still juicey
Google said they close at 9 p.m. so we arrived at 7:50 p.m. thinking we had enough time. But when we arrived, we discovered that they actually close at 8 p.m. They gave us a seat anyway, but people who came in after us were turned away. You can see from the photos the chairs are already up on the tables as we were seated. They were cleaning all around us as we ordered, and as others were leaving and a booth opened up, they asked us to move to it. I'm not put off by this behavior, but I have never experienced it before. In my experience, waitstaff wait until dinner service is over with and the patrons have left before they put the chairs up and mop the floor. At any rate, the food was good. They had at least one vegan item on the menu, so I ordered that: Tofu with Mixed Seasonal Vegetables
One of two Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. It has cozy booths and the food comes out fast. It’s usually tasty food but this time around it wasn’t good. We had simple egg noodles with tofu which lacked flavor; salt and pepper calamari which were just okay; scallop eggplant with veggies and basil - the veggies were delicious and the scallops undercooked; and tofu egg rolls which were wonderful. The service was alright and I appreciate that the manager gave me a discount for the undercooked scallops. I could see coming back here to try other dishes and giving it a chance again.
