They have delicious vegan options. Their bahm mi tofu sandwich is my favorite thing to get every Tuesday afternoon for dinner. They are precise and fast when ordering online for pick up. Their veggie broth for the vegan pho options is delicious! - not just water and salt like at other places. This one is rich and healthy. Everyone who has been our server has been kind and the owners seem to always be welcoming and involved in their business. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and comfortable, but the acoustics are "too good". Something about the materials of the wall, floor, and windows makes it so that you can hear everyone's conversations haha. Great for energetic dinner plans and if you like eavesdropping - maybe not the best for quite evening dinner plans.
Placed two orders of spring rolls for take out. Went in and out, but the restaurant seemed clean. The employees were kind. 1/1 stars. Spring rolls specifically, would not recommend. Not sure if it was the shrimp, vegetables, or both, but it had an unpleasant taste. The color/texture of the vegetables didn't seem right. The texture of the shrimp didn't seem right. The sauce was "okay", but not enough to mask the spring roll's quality. 1/4 stars. Since the reviews are generally high, I would like to assume that the other menus are better.
Traveling from out of town and ended up here randomly for dinner. It’s a nice little spot for noms; flavors were a bit different than we are use to but still tasty.
Went there for lunch today! Thought this place was DELICIOUS. I ordered the pork banh mi and wonton soup and I finished both. The pork on the banh mi was super flavorful and had a char that almost made it seem like it was cooked over a charcoal grill. So good. The bread and veggies on the banh mi were excellent as well. The wonton soup was also SO yummy. The broth was flavorful and light, and the wontons had (I think) a shrimp and pork filling. Service was nice. It was very hands off, which worked well since it’s a small restaurant. It was slow enough when we went that if I needed anything, I could just look at one of the servers and they would come right over. My boyfriend got one of the rice plates, which he thought was very tasty, but he didn’t think the portion was big enough for his a
Pho Van is a nice and clean spot with fast, friendly service. We ordered the Pho Tai, and while the food was good, it wasn't outstanding. The broth was decent, but the meat could have been more tender. Overall, its a solid choice if you're in the mood for a soup on a rainy day, but don't expect it to be the best you've ever had.
