Customer Reviews
It was busy tonight when we went, but it's a Saturday night, so that's to be expected. It was only 2 of us and we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our food arrived very quickly despite how busy it was. I ordered the Kobe Pho and my husband had the oxtail Pho. We also ordered egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything was delicious.
My Viet friend took me here and it was a great recommendation! I got the oxtail pho which the pho broth was so tasty that you don't need to add sauces to it. The oxtails were a little on the smaller side but the meat was juicy and tender. I was oddly the most impressed by and fixated on the side bean sprouts because they are the freshest and crunchiest I've ever had in my life. That alone already won me over LOL!
We had pho at Pho Nam Lua, and it was hands down the best pho we’ve ever had. The broth was incredibly rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced—comforting and delicious in every way. The noodles and meat were fresh and well prepared, and each bowl was packed with authentic flavor. If you’re looking for truly outstanding pho in Chicago, this place is a must. Highly recommended!
Can easily be my new go-to spot for pho. Tasty pho ga (chicken pho). Paid cash, but didn’t get coins back as part of the change, so I took off one star. They also accept card. Plenty of free parking available in the lot next to the restaurant.
Unassuming little place. The food is ok. The broken rice with beef was pretty good. The doing rolls were hard since the skin dried out . The sauces are just a bit off but ingredients were fresh. OnChoy was pretty yum.
