Customer Reviews
I find the broth here a little bland, compared to the Pho spots usually go to in Garden Grove where there is an abundance of Vietnamese food so there is amore competition. But it is decent considering that there are not many Pho spots in the area.
Went to get spring rolls. And it was the most gentrified springrolls I have ever tasted. The worst springrolls. It was just lettuce and shrimp. None of that authentic flavor from small businesses. The peanut sauce was too sour. And you barely taste any peanut flavor. They just sprinkled peanuts and called it "peanut sauce". $8.50 for 2 springrolls. Banh Mi Che Cali BMC Pho has better spring rolls with egg roll crunch and they add meat with their shrimp. And it's $6 for 3. I usually never write food reviews so you know the rolls were BAD.
The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was decent overall--nothing exceptional, but it met expectations. What really stood out to me was the ambience; I especially loved the interior wall designs, which added a lot of charm and character to the space.
Amazing portions for a very cheap price. We got ribs and an oxtail pho for $17 and $19. Very few places can match the amount of food and quality to Pho Anvi.
I've been to many Pho restaurants and this one stands out because, they offer unlimited noodles for free!!! They have different types of noodles but the traditional noodles you typically get with Pho, you can ask for an unlimited amount. Just the noodles so no proteins but how cool is that? One portion was good enough for me, but I saw plenty of other customers asking for extra noodles. What a way to stand out. What adds to the appeal is that the food was good. I ordered the Pho Tai with meatballs and the food tasted clean wasn't greasy or heavy. The service was good and brisk as most Asian restaurants are. The prices were reasonable as well and would definitely come back.
