Pho 71

Today's foray to Broken Arrow took me to Pho 71 on Elm. Don't know if it was the cooler temps or what, but I was in the mood for something hot and soupy. TLDR: Good pho, nice people, priced right. Located in a strip mall along with several other eateries, Pho 71 is small, cozy and homey. I arrived around noon and was seated immediately. I'd kinda checked out the menu, so I pretty much had my mind made up, which helped speed the process a bit. I went with the medium pho with brisket and meatballs, and a order of 2 fried seafood spring rolls. In looking at the menu online, I only got to see the pho portion. There's a whole 'nother page with noodle and fried rice dishes, and a lot of them looked really appetizing.... so those are for another trip. My food arrived pretty quickly, and after

Me and a friend decided to try out Pho for the first time and absolutely loved it! The P4 dish that we had was so flavorful and delicious that we had to ask if they sold the broth separately too, which they do! They even do to go orders!! When we got there around 12:30, we did have to wait for a table but it wasn't that long of a wait, like less than five minutes. They were super packed at the time but considering how great the food was, it makes sense. When I picked up a to go order on a different day later in the evening, they weren't as packed, so it must've just been a lunch rush.

What the Pho! In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, so far I have found Pho 71 to have the most flavorful and balanced broth of Pho, so far … it has the flavors and balance like it supposed to have! The noddle is the right size, just because so much of it, it was undercooked. The briskets plenty, however I want the soft and fatty briskets…NOT at Pho 71 and not any where in Oklahoma, so far! The place was about full, tight… just a serious noddle eating house. Will be back for sure!

Best AUTHENTIC Chicken Pho around. Thick slices of chicken breast, never dry! The beef pho is excellent, super clean broths, not overly salty. Fried dumplings are so good, not greasy at all. The restaurant is always super clean. The Vietnamese Iced are 100 percent authentic. My favorite pho restaurant in the Tulsa area.

This plate is $14.99. No pork chop, 2 small shrimp, and dry chicken. This plate at other Vietnamese restaurant, you get a pork chop, chicken straps cooked right, 4 shrimps, soup, pickled daiko and carrots, sliced cucumbers, and sometimes sliced pork skin. The portion is a lot. This portion is something for a kid. The food is too dry. The pho here is basic: hot water, MSG, lard, and cilantro. Every Pho restaurant serves this kind of pho. Authentic Vietnamese pho tastes way better. It tastes so good, you need not add anything to it.
