PHO 5UP ANNAPOLIS

We had the fried egg roles to start. The filling to fry ratio is like a cross between an egg roll and a spring roll. We really like them especially because of the crunch. The spicy Pho had good flavor. While we like veggies in our Pho we weren’t a fan of the large carrot circles and the noodles were very stuck together. The Vietnamese coffee was great! So far it’s the best Pho in the Annapolis area.

I was disappointed by the false glowing reviews on this location. I want to be clear that the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. However, the bowls my wife and I were served were well below satisfactory. I ordered a spicy beef and pork bowl while my wife opted for meatballs. The beef was just ok, but the pork was not at all what I had imagined. The pork resembled a piece of luncheon meat, as it was round and was cut in half. It had the texture of bologna and was mostly rubbery and dull. The broth was entirely flavorless and despite adding some fixings, lime, and sriracha-there was no noticeable improvement. According to my wife, her bowl was the same. Her meatballs were flavorless and had the consistency of a sponge. Neither of us finished our meals that day.

Had an amazing experience! The place was clean and so much bigger than I expected. They were able to accommodate our party of 7 with no problem, including two kids. Service was top notch and super quick for everything we ordered. The food was AMAZING! A few in our party never had Pho before and were pleasantly surprised. Menu was easy to read and staff was very helpful picking what we wanted. We will definitely be back!

The chicken pho was served in beef broth. Per admission of staff member. No considerationfor food allergy or customer preference. This info should be disclosed during ordering or listed on the menu. Additionally, the chicken was rubbery. Could not finish my pho. No staff members came to check on our table after the food was delivered to the table. Highly disappointed.

Absolutely deliciousness in a giant bowl, super fast service, and a clean quiet atmosphere. We scarfed our food down so fast I forgot to take a photo, but if you havent gone to this little spot yet, it's great for post-Maryland Ren Fair meal!
