Phillys Cafe & Deli

What a great new place! I've been visiting HHI for about four years and this place amazed me. The sandos were great size and an even better price! For now, kids eat free on Saturday! What?? Who does that? Pack up the kids, call your neighbors and head down to Phillies for a quality hoagie!

The portions were large. The meat was well seasoned, not over or under. The meat was served hot on a toasted roll that was soft to bite into. The fries were light and crispy, not too salty or greasy. The second picture is my 11 year olds. He saved the second 1/2 for later. The place is clean and smells like mozzarella and not grease. The staff is friendly and sitting in the restaurant I found they great the locals my name. That’s nice.

Stopped in during our vacation. The subs were fantastic! Bread was so fresh and smelled amazing when we walked in. We got a Philly and a cold sub to share. Both were delicious. The fries were crispy and great as well.

The place was clean and pleasant. It was not crowded when I went so I was able to order quickly after scanning the menu above the counter. It was Thursday so I took advantage of the $8 any cheese steak deal, ordering the South Street. That and a fountain drink ran $11 and some change. There was a little spear in the basket, as well. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I will be going back to try more of the menu. Definitely worth a try.

This is a great place to eat. They have such a large selection of sandwiches and more. Myself and my wife had Phillies and they were delicious. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. This restaurant should absolutely be spoken of when asked about great dining options on the island!
