Philly's Best Cheesesteaks

Today was my first time trying this place. Customer service with Jazzmen 10/10 very polite, alert, and approachable. The food was made to my liking. I spent about $45 on two philly classic with cheese fries and a regular fry. This fed four ppl. The portions were good. They are not stingy with their meat. The restaurant has a mellow vibe to it. Yes, I will visit again and spread the word to family and friends.

Much like the founder of this chain, one of my great struggles after moving to SoCal has been finding an acceptable cheesesteak. I was a little skeptical of the chain’s success, and I’ve been burned before. But I couldn’t have been more pleased. A big, authentic cheesesteak with all the classic options, Eagles all over (Go Birds), Birch Beer available. The sandwich is large, the meat, cheese, mushrooms and onions (in my case) were all the perfect size and consistency. The meat falls out of the sandwich a bit but only from the top and the end, never the bottom, which is exactly what you want. The bread is soft and strong. If you’re from Philly land and craving, I can definitely recommend.

Fresh, authentic, tasty. I really enjoyed the sandwich, well done and great flavor. Fries are also good. Service very friendly and efficient. Inside is a bit tight and on our visit the music was very loud making it hard to hold a conversation. Street parking can be rough in this area, they have a few spots in the back. Definitely recommended.

Decadent and delicious! We really enjoyed our Philly Cheese Steak and Nashville Hot Chicken Cheesesteak. Portions were large. Kinda messy to eat, but it was worth it. The lady at the register seemed pretty uninterested in providing much service, just staring blankly at us a couple of times which was a bit weird. But I can recommend the food here.

I pass by this place frequently on my walks and finally made it in. I don’t really eat Philly cheesteaks often, so I just ordered the cooper classic based on signage. Not only was it delicious and the service amazing, but the owner, Bob, gave me the run-down on what I was eating, he offered me a couple cheeses to sample, and he answered some random questions i had— completely unprompted! I had a great meal and learned something new 😎
