Philly Foodworks

I have been a Philly foodworks customer for over three years now and it was the best decision I have ever made. I was in the market for local produce, non gmo and organic. The quality is unmatched and when I say you can taste the difference I mean. I had never tasted carrots as fresh or potato’s with so much flavor. Things you don’t realize when you are used to big box store imported low quality produce. It’s also a huge relief to not have to worry every time there is a new listeria recall on items. This was huge for me during the cucumber and tomato’s recalls two summers ago as I was pregnant and would only eat produce from Phillyfoodworks. We LOVE Philly Foodworks! We get a farm box every week and then do a la carte for most of our other foods for the week. Having fresh veggies, bread, cheese, fruits, kombucha, and tofu delivered once a week is so incredible. The quality and taste of the food is delicious (we joke that we are ruined for grocery store veggies at this point) and we've gotten to explore so many new types of veggies and fruits we'd never even heard of before. I also love being able to easily skip things if we're out of town and also subscribe to things, so I know we'll get it each week. I could not recommend this service enough! Would also recommend doing it with Bennett Compost, so all the scraps go right into the compost and the cycle continues!

I've been utilizing Philly food works since their inception. Dylan and his crew are amazing at supporting the food ecosystem in the greater Philadelphia area. I recommend them to as many people as I can. I've discovered so many unique and delicious varieties of fruits and vegetables that I didn't even know existed prior to trying out pfw. If you're looking for a sustainable option and you don't have access to a local co-op, or just really want to support small business, this is the place to check out. They offer delivery to your home which I absolutely love. So, even if you're in the suburbs, you have the opportunity to utilize their service.

Our favorite Philly CSA! We had family recommend it to us and I couldn't recommend it more to others! Super convenient delivery straight to your door or to a local shop walking distance to you based on your delivery preference. Amazing fruits and veggies and always super fresh! It's a great way to support local farmers / community and also experiment with new fruits / veggies. They also have meats, bread, dairy, etc but we primarily use them for the greens.

great farm share - easy to get fresh veggies delivered, add on other fun or tasty items, and try new things. very easy to skip or adjust if my schedule changes for the week too!
