If you’re craving a dining experience that blends bold flavors, elegance, and serious New York City flair, Philippe Chow is your next must-visit. Tucked away in the Upper East Side, this upscale Chinese restaurant delivers a chic, intimate vibe with dim lighting, sleek decor, and an undeniable air of cool. But let’s talk food—because that’s where Philippe Chow truly shines. Their signature Chicken Satay is the stuff of legend—tender, smoky, and served with a creamy peanut sauce that you’ll dream about for days. The Beijing Chicken? Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice. And don’t even think about leaving without trying the Salt & Pepper Lobster or the hand-pulled noodles—they’re both showstoppers. Portions are generous, perfect for sharing, and the cocktails are just as tho

Pro tip. Order the Peking duck when you arrive and enjoy dumplings, fried rice, bok choy and stiff drinks, too. All were extremely delicious! Service was phenomenal and the vibe is cool. Desserts to celebrate were quite literally the icing on the cake. Had a great meal and fun start to the night! 🙏🏼🤙🏼🍻💯😎

Dining at Philippe Chow was nothing short of an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a truly romantic evening. The dim lighting, elegant décor, and intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a special night out. We started with the Chicken Satay, which was perfectly tender and paired beautifully with the rich peanut sauce. For the main course, the Peking Duck was the star of the show—crispy skin, succulent meat, and an explosion of flavor in every bite. The House Special Lobster was another standout, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of seasoning. The cocktails wer

This is Philippe Chow's original NYC location. We first tried what is now a chain in Washington DC and absolutely loved the experience. While the Upper East location isn't as nice or new as DC's decor wise, the food was fantastic none the less. Philippe Chow is one of the best fancy Chinese restaurants in either city!
