Phelan Memorial Library

My favorite library in the high desert. Very attentive and thoughtful librarians, made my daughter and I feel at home right away. They get my online ordered books faster compared to other libraries. Usually a very quiet library to study in, aside from events, not a lot of people there at once so there's always somewhere to sit and computers to use with room to spare. They have extra incentives for the kids that a small library is able to manage like find the elf during Christmas time, or find these 10 pictures of books or characters around the library and you'll get a small toy or sticker. They have kid weekly hour long events like legos, crafts, larger giveaways(legos), and even adult crafts. Nice local library. Employees are helpful. One young lady was kind and quick to help my son. He is disabled so I am very aware of how people treat him or interact with him. I appreciate when people show kindness. Clean and tons of books for kids. (It is a small library.)

This library has great staff that are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need and want. They care because they know you don't want anything less. You make the library essential, and you help the community by utilizing the library.

Not having a working printer had caused me problems. Needing copies of paperwork same thing. Then while at the Phelan Library making copies the helpful and friendly staff told me I could also use my phone and email it to the library for printing only $0.15 per page b & w $0.50 per page color Sure beats buying a printer. Great place . I don't know his name but the young man that helped me was fantastic. When they let you know about things you didn't ask about that's real help oh today is Saturday July 31 4:30 pm I thank him very much.
