Petonito's Pastry and Cupcake Shoppe

We had a blast at Cannoli School! So much fun learning to make cannolis from scratch! The owners are super nice and helpful and this is definitely a one of a kind experience! Highly recommended!

We’ve done the cookie classes and pickup treats and goodies frequently over the past 3 Years since finding this gem. 44 minutes from home but so worth the drive. You won’t be disappointed.

We took a cannoli class at Petonito’s and had so much fun! They guided us through all of the steps, from how to mix the dough, roll it, fry it, and fill the cannoli! The owners did a great job of keeping it fun, with a little trivia mixed in too. Our cannoli came out great, and we would recommend this class to anyone! We’ve also used this bakery for a birthday cake previously, which was also very good.

A pleasant little surprise tucked away in a weird little “mall” (for lack of a better term). I hadn’t eaten all day and then had to get blood drawn at Quest in the same mall so I needed a pick me up. I went in here and got a little offering of cookies for the fam and an apple cinnamon canoli doughnut. This thing was insane, like this doughnut sandwich hybrid should definitely be at the Big E for more people to try! You can taste everything separately and all together simultaneously. That’s no easy feat. Everything was fresh and very well priced. Now I can’t wait to get blood drawn again.

When we were investigating caterers for our wedding (along the shoreline from New Haven to Clinton), we asked where their wedding cakes came from, and we were pleasantly surprised that Petonito’s Bakery kept coming up. And since Petonito’s was our local bakery and we had been going there for years, we went right to the source for our cake. They did a superb job.
