Pete's Fresh Market #12 - Oak Park

I finally went to Pete's fresh market, they put the fresh in fresh market. They have a great deli dept. Wide assortment of deli items, fresh and pre sliced fresh meat,cheese and sausages. They also have an olive bar yes I said OLIVE BAR! I love olives. They have fresh food I mean a wide selection of fresh food, to me it's a little pricey but a very very big selection They even cook and serve it fresh big selection of fresh salad and fresh made sushi and Spanish dishes, they also have an ice cream bar. I will be going back next time I go shopping they even have inside and outside sitting area to eat your food. What else can you want from your grocery store. Well it would be nice if the had a bank, who the think they are Jewels, ha,ha,ha

Pete's grocery store is the place to go if you want a large selection of food items to choose from. Their produce department has a large variety of fruits and vegetables. They have fresh cut fruit and freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. I love their hot food deli. Instead of going out for luch nowadays, I head to Pete's for salmon and vegetables, pot roast and mashed potatoes, lasagna or pasta with chicken. They have fried and grilled meats and lots of cooked vegetables. They have a large salad bar, sushi, made to order tacos, and hot soup. I like the large varieties of cheeses to choose from and mixed nuts. Their meat and seafood offerings are excellent. Their customer service is friendly. This Pete's Fresh Market gets a 5 Star review. Clean, organized, well stocked, Hot food available, sushi artist available on demand, alcohol available for you sippers and a friendly staff. For those of you that walk in with a frown, you may walk out with a smile 😊

The Petes in Oak Park has good deals fresh produce and the store is organized and clean. The store is on the smaller scale so it can get packed but the customers are well mannered enough to say excuse me.

The parking spaces are adequate. You don't have to worry. The fresh squeezed counter: The juice always tastes good and they strain the product. -a bit overpriced. The deli counter: LOOKS clean, but several times, employees are hugging eacher other while someone is cutting meat. They don't change gloves between products leading to cross contamination. They should automatically remove their gloves when touching the scale but don't. The coffee counter: is priced well but a very long wait. One instance I waited ten mins to order, and then waited 20 mins and only got 1 of my 3 drinks. The machine broke and they offered a refund for the unmade drinks. Fresh made bread is amazing.
