Peter Cave General Store And Restaurant

Store is just about empty. Whoever owns it just doesn't seem to care. Food selection was a few 'burger bin' burgers and some bologna & ham to be sliced. Soft drink selection was slim to none. It's sad, this used to be a really good store.

As much as I want to leave this place a good review I just can’t. I walked in at 7:30 to be greeted with a “are you looking for something” with the rudest attitude. I heard so many good things about this place so I told her how we was just in town wanting to try the famous hamburgers and she said well we are out and pointed to the door. A little friendliness goes a long way. I’m more than understanding if hours changed or if she just didn’t feel like doing it. But to be greeted in that way. Definitely won’t be back

The store used to be one of my family’s favorite places to go eat or get snacks but now the place is empty not having what we want when they used to carry it all the time, the employees definitely have changed and not for the better used to be quick friendly service now it’s grouchy or confused service.

Is this store going out of business. No stock.

Thus was a great store at one time. Now there isn't much of a selection on the shelves. Several brands of soft drinks were also missing. The food is pretty good. The service is good, and sometimes great. Depending on who is working.
