Petaluma Food Taxi

If you are ordering from PFT, this is a heads up. Wanted to place order for pick up but the restaurant's website took us to PFT. The restaurant’s paper receipt that was attached on our order was $17 less than what our credit card was charged from PFT. The owner of PFT said the prices they set on our order is correct that the restaurant has the wrong prices and I need to contact them instead. Not so.The restaurant's prices on their website matched the prices on the attached receipt. After reviewing PFT’s itemized receipt, we found that when ordering through them, they increase pricing, including for pickups. For delivery, perhaps. Pick ups, highway robbery. For pickups, CALL the establishment directly otherwise expect to pay 30% more.

Anytime I'm needing food delivered all I had to do is place my order with Petaluma food taxi and I'd receive a time of arrival if there was anything wrong or missing from my order it wasn't a problem to jus contact them and they would make things right . It was easy to pay ahead as well as tip my driver. All the services and delivery drivers are easy going and that's exactly why I use them over and other delivery services.

I placed an order for dinner. Got a confirmation email. Went hiking with plans for dinner to be ready when we got home. Then at 5:30 - about 45 minutes before the meal should have been delivered - I got an email saying that my order was canceled and they gave me no reason. We were out hiking so I didn't notice it until here we are sitting here waiting for our food and I check my email and there it is. They told me that I should have received a message and it happened immediately. When I told them that it did not happen immediately they said oh yeah you're right. They told me the reason why is they don't deliver to Rohnert Park. So I could have just gone and picked up my food if I'd known that they weren't going to deliver it but instead I got shafted and now I got to go figure out somethin

Pros: fast, local, good selections, never had any mistakes Cons: sometimes things from the menu are missing, and their drivers don't always carry change for cash. We usually have to call them to remind them to carry change if we choose the cash option on their website. Overall pretty great! We use them often.
