Customer Reviews
Right off the river trail, perfect snack for my fellow bikers/walkers. Chicken was super tender and the seasoning was amazing. Fried plantains was the cherry on top. Everything was high quality. Excited to try the rest of the menu. Owners are super nice, was lucky to meet one while doing a research study. We talked about how local the ingredients are sourced when available. Glad to have this food truck in our community. I think everyone should try them.
Went to Perpah’s Reggae Kitchen,Let me just say this I was pleasantly surprised, being from the Caribbean I seek out any Caribbean cuisine in town. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and to more than perfection! I got the curry goat meal along with the jerk chicken meal and everything was to die for. The flavors and the way the meat was perfectly cooked was unmatched by any Jamaican cuisine around. The cabbage was perfect, not soggy and still had a bit of a crunch! And the rice? Was well cooked And the fried plantains, fried to perfection along with the taste! Authentic Caribbean food is served here. You won’t regret spending money with them! Amazing service, amazing food.
Hands down the best Jamaican food I have ever had and not just in Lansing I have been all over the country and I haven't had anything this good. Their use of spices and seasonings are amazing The flavors are what Jamaican food should be not this watered down unseasoned stuff that I have had. Everything is good. The oxtails are amazing The chicken is out of this world The curry goat is one of my favorites and also the kingfish dish. Might go to when I want something nice and spicy with an island vibe.
I had a great goat curry with yummy sides. Very friendly cooks and A diverse selection of Jamacian classics, from Jerk chicken to Oxtails to soups and stews. I'll definitely be back to try more soon!
Dudeeeeeeee I am so glad we stopped in to see what you guys were serving. The food was so amazing. We will for sure be back. Would you guys consider doing Jamaican patties at any point? Keep up the great work!!!!
