Perkins Pier Clam Shack & Bar

Awesome place to grab some food and a couple cold ones, the bartender/hostess was great and provided excellent service, all the other people there are really easy to get along with, and you should challenge the bouncer to a game of chess. That dude is crazy good at chess, they have it there along with alot of other games you can play on the outside patio. Get the boom burger.

I just moved to the area, however Ai am familiar with the area. The Pier is a cute little nook. A little hideaway with an eclectic and surfer grunge feel. Ladies behind the bar are beautiful, smart, and friendly. It's a perfect spot for a breather from the typical "Hot Spots" in Hampton Beach but also very close by for when your ready to get back to the grind.

I showed up at this place last night leaving Wally's after having a prime rib dinner. (8:15 pm) I went into the pier I sat down at the bar was greeted by the bartender very nice and she was busy so I waited patiently for my drink after she said , I will be right with you, I said okay no problem... to my surprise 5 minutes later I had the bouncer approach me and say you have to leave....( African-American )... I said excuse me? Can you please tell me why I have to leave? Bouncer replied back saying, " it's because of the way I saw you walk coming from Wally's". I explained to him why I had a limp because I had surgery on both my feet and I have screws and a plate with other screws in my other foot. ( I still have a limp when I walk from time to time). Came during off season on November. Place was playing banger hits from the 80s. Bartender was nice got us drinks quick, burgers came out hot and with grest flavors and prices were fair. Definitely would come again!

Best spot on the beach!! Fresh food and amazing atmosphere and drinks!
