Wonderfully crumbly shortbread in a variety of flavors, using simple ingredients. So good! Especially love the lavender and orange-cranberry flavors. And appreciate the generous sample offerings!
What a beautiful and highly unique Iowa gift shop! The Perfect Blend, showcases truly delicious Scottish shortbreads and more, provided in a lovely family ownership setting! It is the ideal "go to" gift shop, highlighting various artisans products as well. Always a delight to stop by, relax, and find that perfect treat or gift for birthdays and special occasions!
We're thankful we decided to spend the entire sday in Mt Vernon, that we took our time to enjoy Perfect Blend and getting to know the owner, Ann Booth.
Although Ann was closed for the day yet baking, she still allowed me to purchase my love for her shortbread cookies. Of course I buy one of beach flavor!!
Love the owner and the selection of items. They have infused honey which is amazing.
