This has got to be the loudest library I’ve ever been to. People bring their children and they be yelling and crying etc….if u just want a place to hide out, then this library is for u, but if u actually need a place to read & study, find another one. However, the staff are extremely nice and helpful.

Went to a talk on the Holocaust. The gentleman was a second generation survivor. What his parents went through was unimaginable. What I cannot comprehend is how people can say this never happened. He made his talk so real by having interviewed his parents before they passed. We listened to his mother describe her life living as a 17 year old girl living in Poland, then being made to wear a star and discriminated only get on a truck, it being able to say good bye to her parents and moving to a new city to work in a concentration camp. What a journey they travelled as Jews who were sent to the camps. His father did 3 death walks! Ww eee asked to do our homework tonight. We are to go home and tell all that this did happen. I use this library often. Thier bathroom is always smell bad and never feels clean. One particular librarian talks loud all the time as if the library is his own. The books they display are mostly dark and negative and it seems politically one sided. Overall, this library feels old and stail.
