Customer Reviews
Went on the recommendation of friends who said they loved the food. The restaurant used to be a Frischs. They did a great job transforming the space. They did a great job with the decor. The servers were attentive and helpful. Now for the food. The chips and salsa were very, very good. I ordered the Chile Verde which is pork in a green sauce. The sauce lacked flavor or spice and the meat dry. I was pretty disappointed. The Birria Taco was promising as it was cooked to perfection. However, the beef was very, very greasy, no flavor and fatty. There was little to no meat in it at all. Also a disappointing dish. 3 of the 4 other people I went with felt like the meat in their dishes was sub par. I'm willing to say that I hope this was just an off day as friends have said such great things abo
My wife and I are vacationing from Pennsylvania and we stopped here as it is right next to our hotel. All the staff were quite warm and welcoming, including with my wife in her wheelchair. They almost immediately brought us warm homemade tortilla chips and two different sauces, red and white. Our waiter very quickly offered us a queso dip as well, which we said yes to and would highly recommend requesting! The food came out rather quickly and was excellently cooked and very flavorful. My wife had a burrito and I had the a chicken & sausage with tortillas. Decent portion sizes left us full and satisfied. We loved it so much we went back the next night and both got the enchiladas pictured! Despite the slightly higher than expected noise level, we would absolutely recommend stopping in
We were staying for a quick pit stop overnight at the Hilton nearby. This restaurant was in walking distance of the hotel and did not disappoint. It was valentines day night and the restaurant was busy but the service was exceptional. There was a daily special for 5.99 margaritas, yum ! We had tacos, enchiladas and the complimentary chips along with different flavors of margaritas. I wish I lived locally so I could go again. Authentic Mexican food for a great price and a huge selection.
Service: Phenomenal! Food: Out of this world! Fantastic! Atmosphere: Classic old Tavern vibe, love it! The server was on point! Place was clean! Food was fast! Husband felt the Margherita was one of the best he's ever had. He loved his Food. We both liked the salsa. The other dip that comes with the salsa and chips was amazing! My husband feel in love with it! I got the Carne Asada Tacos with custom toppings. They tasted just like my Hispanic Step-Dad always makes them. Perfection! I couldn't recommend this place more! If you don't know where to go, look no further! This is your new happy place!
We’ve been going to this new Mexican restaurant about once a week since it opened, and it just keeps getting better. The food is consistently amazing, full of flavor, fresh, and easily some of the best Mexican cuisine around. The interior and overall setting are beautiful, warm, and inviting; it’s honestly one of the nicest dining atmospheres in the area. Their margaritas are strong (in the best way), and the staff is incredibly friendly every single visit. You can really tell the owners care, because they’re there daily, chatting with customers and making sure everything is perfect. I attached a picture of what I tried today. I tried the Volcano Fajita, and it blew me away. Such a unique dish with cactus, chicken, steak, and chorizo sausage — incredibly flavorful and something you don’t
