Pentwater Pizza & Grinders

This is great pizza! They do not skimp on the toppings, the sauce tastes great and there are nice pieces of ham. Not deli chopped up ham, but actual ham! The staff was friendly and made sure I got a takeout menu. I didn’t eat in, but the dining area was clean. I would definitely come here again. I’d like to try their calzone.

Great little shop. Fast service. Damn good pizza for a small town (or for Chicago). Courteous staff. Definitely my "go to" on vacation. Nice little porch if you want to eat there instead of carry-out.

This was a great place to eat. We originally were going to go somewhere else but they were not open so we stopped in here. We got their (now) new Chicago deep dish with ham to go. It was a great pie! The ONLY reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is...even though their crust was absolutely delicious...I like mine with a little more crispy on the outside. I would and most likely next time I come through Pentwater would get another pie or try a grinder.

I’m not sure what went wrong here, maybe too busy during homecoming. The pizza was super flat, the dough didn’t rise maybe, super soggy even after putting in the oven at home for 30 minutes. Super salty, just not good.. super disappointed. Won’t order again. Stinks because we’d rather just grab a pizza in town… but we’ll get pentwater convenience or hart pizza next time

Ate here with the family 3 times while vacationing in Pentwater. We all LOVED the pizza. The crust is thicker and almost pretzel-like. Also, it is egg free which is a must for my son's food allergies. We also enjoyed the greek salad and turkey grinder. Service takes 10-25 minutes (not unlike other made to order pizza restaurants) so plan accordingly. We found it definitely worth the wait. This will definitely be one of our go to places while visiting.
