Penna’s Italian Market

My networking group meets here for breakfast every week and the space, food, and staff are awesome. Recently I used them to cater a party with 50 people. They did a great job. Tammy was super helpful in the planning stage and everything came together. The food was a hit.

Restaurant is attractive, staff is super friendly and helpful, and food is delicious. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I'm partial to the Turkey Hoagies. The fresh Italian role is scooped (seeded or not), making room for piled-on (what tastes like it must be freshly cut) Turkey. Add on lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers, Oregano and black pepper, (and oil or maybe a little mayo) and you'll need to use two hands to lift up half of the 10-inch masterpiece. Eat it with a bag of chips, and add a soda. Perfection.

We recently celebrated our daughter's fourth birthday at Penna's, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The room we rented was perfect for our gathering, with ample space for kids to play and adults to mingle. But what truly made the event special was Tammy, our event coordinator. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, from the layout of the room to the quality of the food. Tammy's enthusiasm and creativity really shone through when it came to the presentation of the food. Instead of a basic spread, she created a visually stunning display that caught everyone's attention. I decided to stop here with my mom about 20 minutes prior to them closing last Saturday, around 3:40 or so. In any event, I ordered an Italian Hoagie which was packed with meat and tasted pretty good. The deli inside is clean and bright The older woman who rang me up seemed ready to get out of there, and we decided to take our food to go, despite my mom wanting to remain there and eat. The old woman behind the counter tried to discourage us from staying, which I kind of understood given the relatively short time remaining until closing. She could have been a bit more pleasant though. The food choices like the pasta in the freezer seemed decent as well. The selection appeared to be limited however, which was somewhat surprising as well. Perhaps they were simply depleted from a rush of

Went there for a hoagie today and was quite impressed. Bread was freshly baked and just the right texture, deli meats imported and other ingredients were equally tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions about what to order. I got the Penna’s Italian Hoagie on seeded bread (recommended!). Noticed they also sell a good variety of frozen and cold Italian pastas and sauces, they also carry the local Corropolese tomato pie. A little tip: if you get the large hoagie you can easily cut each quarter in half to serve 8 people! Such a great value for a high quality sandwich.
