Penn Station East Coast Subs

SATURDAY EATS my wife and I after a long day getting ready to get carpet, wanted a sandwich, this place was easy to get, the good has fresh and we where able to get half & half tea. I think the price for 2 people was a little pricey.

We have been coming to this Penn Station for over a year now. Hands down the most consistent food, service and quality every time. The manager and crew have even gotten to know us both by name. Have tried the one on 168th 4 times now and have never been satisfied because it is never the same. Come to this store if you want a great sandwich that is made the same every time. Plus the place is cleaner than most other restaurants. Keep up the great work and we will see you again!!

The employees were nice and it was clean. I wanted all 4 sandwiches cold, but the veggie was toasted. In addition, there was hardly anything on the veggie so that was pretty disappointing as a meal. Save your money if you don't eat meat and just go somewhere else.

Okay. The classic Italian sub toasted was about average. The bread was really good and probably the best part of the meal. The meat portions were ample and the vegetables appeared fresh. Overall, the sub was tasty and worth ordering. I was disappointed by the fries. They had a lot of potential but were overcooked. The excess cooking took away the juiciness and what could have been a dynamic flavor. The staff was very friendly and asked if I needed anything else. The restaurant was clean and the fresh lemons for the iced tea were a nice bonus. I really wanted to like this place more but there are better sub shops out there. If they cooked the fries a little less, my rating and opinion would be more favorable.

I don’t usually leave reviews about that food places however the food is so disappointing, I have to share. The fries were not seasoned well. The lemonade is very sour and the Philly cheesecake was very greasy and lacked flavor and it’s very hard to mess up a Philly cheesesteak. However, the place was nice and clean, and staff was friendly
